Fiesta

Since we will not be living in San Antonio for that much longer, we figured that we should experience Fiesta while we were here. People travel from all over to go and we just have a quick 15 minute drive:) We spent the whole day sitting around listening to music, eating the vendor food and walking around downtown. It was such a wonderful way to spend my last day of maternity leave before heading back to work. Fiesta, for those of you who do not know, is a big street party with a carnival and parades along the River Walk and in Market Square to honor the memory of the heroes of the Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. It's been held every year since 1891.

Is that not the most pathetic face you have ever seen? This face makes Daddy break every time and usually Mommy too:)

Isn't it amazing how those faces can make just about any heart melt...wait until she adds the word "peeeeeeze" to it -- then it is really hard to say no. :-)

Be strong Mommy and Daddy! Don't give in. Let GiGi and Grandpa do that. :) I can hardly wait until we get to see her again--and her parents, too, of course.
Love You!
